TOAD THE WET SPROCKET is absolutely correct. Let's talk about these! Each of the bands that make up the answers to puzzles 1 through 4 get their names from the lyrics of other bands' songs: Tangerine Dream: This German band took its name from a misheard lyric from The Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". (The actual lyric is tangerine trees and marmalade skies). The Lightning Seeds: Speaking of misheard lyrics, Ian Broudie's 90's Britpop band misheard the line thunder drowns out what the lightning sees from Prince's "Raspberry Beret". They heard "seeds", and the rest was history. A Flock of Seagulls: The band, at a concert for The Stranglers (remember them from puzzle #1?), felt like lead singer Hugh Cornwell looked right at them when he sang the lyric a flock of seagulls in the song "Toiler on the Sea". Nazareth: The Scottish hard rock band got their name from the lyrics of "The Weight" by The Band. I pulled into Nazareth, was feelin' about half past dead..., referring to Nazareth, Pennsylvania - not Israel! But it's a different story for Toad the Wet Sprocket: Not from another band's song lyrics, but from a parody musical documentary sketch by Monty Python's Flying Circus, and the report "Rex Stardust, lead electric triangle with Toad the Wet Sprocket, has had to have an elbow removed following their recent successful worldwide tour of Finland."
